Compact and Rigid Body
The reinforced body is designed for increased rigidity under demanding loads. Hardened side plates help reduce load-chain abrasion as the chain travels through the hoist.

True Freewheel Control
The Red Beast freewheel mechanism disengages the drive so the unloaded chain can be moved quickly to the required hook position. The mechanism remains disengaged until the operator intentionally returns it to operating mode.

Practical Difference
Set the Chain Without Fighting the Brake
Conventional freewheel mechanisms may unintentionally return to an engaged position while the operator is adjusting the unloaded chain. The Red Beast mechanism remains disengaged until it is deliberately returned to operating mode.

Using Freewheel Mode
Select Neutral
Confirm that the hoist is not under load, then move the direction selector into the neutral position.
Pull the Wheel Knob Outward
Pull the wheel knob away from the body to disengage the internal drive mechanism.
Position the Unloaded Chain
Move the chain until the bottom hook reaches the required position and unnecessary slack has been removed.
Return to Operating Mode
Reengaging the Lever
- Hold both chain lines steady so the chain cannot move.
- Rotate the wheel knob clockwise until the mechanism engages.
- Select the required direction and test the brake with a light load before continuing.
